Nicolas Alvarez

One of the founders of Arriba Entertainment, a Tokyo based music production company, Nicolas Alvarez is an award-winning Film composer from Colombia who has worked with many of the world’s top scoring orchestras in Hollywood, London, Nashville and Europe. Having worked with several major video game and film projects, Nicolas is well versed in every aspect of music production from composition and orchestration through to music preparation, recording and mixing.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Nicolas specialized in music business studies, composing, and orchestration for film and TV. In his youth he played as a percussionist for several orchestras and also went on to study jazz drumming at the Colombian College of Jazz before heading abroad to further expand his musical career. Arriving in Japan in 2005, Nicolas shifted focus to composing and producing music for video games and movies.
