Short Background

Wario Wako Haleke was born in Borana Zone, Miyo District Gurbisuga in 1985 from his father Wako Haleke and his mother Qabale Wako, one of the first believer couples in Borana. Wario joined the local EECMY as a child and became a member of its choir. Having completed his training in Animal Science, Degree in Theology & studying MBA & worked as a Civil servant in governmental and non-governmental Organizations. Started his ministry as solo singer in 2006 and became a full-time gospel singer in 2011. In 2016 He started producing TV Program “Nagee Show”. In 2018 He founded “Voice of Hope Ministry”, a religious organization that aimed to empower the servants of Lord through training, our reach & establishing the Bible College.
