Ahmed Ragab

Ahmed Ragab, an Egyptian Quran reciter and Imaam born in 1973, commenced memorizing the Quran at age 6 under a village teacher in Fayoum, Egypt. At 18, he began teaching Quran at Al Azhar, later earning an Ijazah in Tajweed and a Qirat certificate from the Ten Recitation Institution. By 20, he led Terawih Salaah during Ramadan.

After relocating to Cairo, he now serves as an Imaam in multiple mosques. Currently, he imparts Quranic knowledge to students in Egypt and beyond, aiding many in completing Quran memorization by Allah's grace.

From 2014 to 2022, Sheikh Ahmed Ragab was honored to lead Tarawih Prayers at The East London Mosque during Ramadan.
