I started only recording for fun, but it eventually got to the point where I just started recording entire sets and got recognized by fans of bands and even the musicians themselves for my videos.

There are a few factors that I think make my videos watchable. I am willing to get to the front of shows by being at venues early to watch the entire show from opening band to the main act. Unlike other people who record shows, you will rarely hear my voice singing along or shaking to the point where you get motion sickness from watching a live concert video.

I used to shoot with a Nikkon camera (and videos from that camera can still be viewed on my old YouTube account. Just search xXxDarren82xXx) but recently upgraded to a Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX7V camera. I had been meaning to create a new account but had been waiting for a good time to do it.
