Josh's Retirement Ramblings

Hi, I'm Josh. I retired early at the age of 48 after 25 years in the corporate world. I was on the Standard Life Path of college, 40 year career, mortgage and consumer debt until my mid 30's. I discovered the FIRE movement after getting divorced, going bankrupt and losing a house in foreclosure. I found a better path, a path to independence and I'm sharing my thoughts in early retirement in these videos.

I've been loosely journaling my daily life since retirement and I thought it would be fun to talk through some of the topics that stand out to me. These topics aren't intended to be advice, just an opportunity to share what I've encountered and what has or hasn't worked for me. My goal is to offer my thoughts and perhaps some inspiration for those of us interested in non-traditional career and retirement paths.
