In Malta, the first McDonald’s restaurant opened its doors in 1995 in the heart of Valletta. Today there are 9 McDonald’s restaurants scattered across Malta, Gozo and 5 McCafe’s. McDonald’s Malta employs over 700 people and serves more than 5 million diners every year.

McDonald’s Malta is operated by Premier Capital, a Maltese company that is the McDonald’s Developmental Licensee in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania as well as Malta.
