Ellsworth High School

Ellsworth is an historical Maine coastal town 25 miles from Bangor and convenient to the vacation centers of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Ellsworth is a commer- cial and business center, and its surrounding communities are characterized by farming, fishing, and forestry backgrounds. Thus, the population contributing to the high school enrollment represents a broad spectrum of social and economic groups.

Ellsworth High School is a comprehensive, four-year high school serving approximately 480 students in grades nine to twelve. Staff includes 37 teachers, two counselors, three administrators, one social worker, one librarian, and 13 support staff who work with the student body.
