Lode Star is a cross-continental studio band crafting emotional, heavy music that blends doom, modern metal, and hard rock with a melodic core. Formed during the pandemic, the duo of Kate Glock (vocals, production/Ireland) and Jensen Rodolfo (guitars, songwriting/Canada) has been creating music remotely ever since.

Their name means guiding light, a symbol of resilience that runs through their music: songs about breaking down, rebuilding, and finding strength in chaos.

With three albums and an EP released, and a viral cover of Cryoshell’s “Creeping in My Soul,” Lode Star’s work has been featured in Rocksmith 2014 and praised by Powerplay Magazine, Metallurg, Odyssey, and more. After briefly reuniting in person, they’re back to remote collaboration, shaping new material for their next album, due in 2026.
