A little taste of Italian

Hi I'm Sally :)

I'm originally from Rome, but now live in New Zealand with my family.

I am passionate about Italian food. My love affair for food started as a little girl, watching my mum and grandmother cooking. They made fresh pasta from scratch, potatoes gnocchi and pizza using a wooden board on the kitchen bench. The aromas would tickle my appetite before the food was even on the table. When you grow up in Italy, food is part of your life and a very important one.

I always enjoyed cooking and following my mum’s recipes, I am excited to share these with all of you!
